The primary terpenes found in cannabis are pinene, myrcene, linalool, eucalyptol, limonene, humulene, geraniol, terpineol and caryophyllene. High amounts of these terpenes can also be found in plants like lavender (high in linalool), citrus (high in limonene) or eucalyptus (high in eucalyptol).

Each terpene has its own specific health benefits. Pinene can aid memory, while limonene is energizing and supports focus. Myrcene and linalool both have relaxing, sedative qualities. Caryophyllene has so many health benefits, it’s practically a wonder drug on its own.
