Surterra Wellness Expanded from 100 to over 500 Employees in 2018
Atlanta, GA – November 14, 2018 – Surterra Wellness (Surterra), one of the nation’s largest providers of medical cannabis, today announced that William “Beau” Wrigley Jr. will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Wrigley became Chairman of Surterra’s Board of Directors in August and has been closely involved with the company since September 2017. Jake Bergmann stepped down as CEO effective Monday, November 5th.

In July, Surterra closed a $65 million Series C equity fundraising round, led by Wrigley’s direct investment arm, followed two months later by the announcement of a landmark global licensing deal with Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville team to create a new medical marijuana brand, Coral Reefer.
